Hi,
in Delinquency, Discipline, and Disorder is looking for a BG guy, not an artist but maybe, but just someone who would do the following for free:

1.) Find photos of one locale - The game mainly has a Franco-Italian feel to it, so photos taken within one locale or another is better than mashing photos from different locations. Doesn't have to be strictly in the same place but the buildings should look similar, if not in the same architectural design. Photos must fit to a 16:19 aspect resolution, minimum of 1280x720px.
2.) Noting attribution - CC-BY or public domain only.
3.) Filter and editing - Before LSF got it's bunch of BG artists and 3D people, most of the projects used filtered photos.
Yes, I'm that old to confidently say that.
You're going to filter them until they look painterly/watercolored or similar to that effect. Specifically, we're looking for something like this: http://i.imgur.com/K5SUYRI.jpg Be ready for lots of snow.

Otherwise if you're a background artist who's looking for a free project to work with, we have 17-23 backgrounds to work with. No variations btw. We actually have linearts ready for coloring but
it's almost complete but the colorist has gone with the wind and nobody knows when he's coming back. I won't risk having different coloring styles so might as well just start anew.

About the game:
in Delinquency, Discipline, and Disorder is the story of one Elisa Augustine, a high school senior, as she tries to put in line her schoolmates in a rather unusual setting. "Studies first, romance later." has become her motto of sorts, but that doesn't mean she won't have romance as well, after all, she's expected to live longer than her classmates and do better than everyone else.

The game contains 5,834 dialogue blocks, containing 45,594 words and 245,151
characters, for an average of 7.8 words and 42 characters per block.

The game contains 28 menus, 715 images, and 79 screens.
As for the art, we're almost halfway done with the 3rd set of sprites. Writing's at 43/61 blocks for the demo, 43/120+ blocks for the full game. A more detailed report can be found here.
