Hello,
I am the project lead for Blue Duotang Project, a small studio I am starting up. I have about 80% of a script done for my first project and I am now recruiting other positions to start moving forward with turning it into a VN. This story is a small, free to play project which I'm using as a stepping stone for bigger commercial projects. So unfortunately, this isn't a pay job yet. Anyone looking to use this project to advertise their work and move on is welcome to sign up but my goal is to find long term partners.
The Story
The project's name is: A Thin Line. It is a short, 40k word estimate, kinetic novel that is a GxB Romance "Dramady". It follows the story of Sara Hill, who dies in an accident and is given the chance to come back to life as a succubus. In exchange, she has to seduce and steal the soul of a guy who had been tormenting her through high school. It has a strange and sometimes dark sense of humour while exploring themes like personal grown and changing your perception of people and the world around you. It sounds deeper than it is. Really it is quite lighthearted.
Artists
This is the biggest need as I need Backgrounds, Sprites and CG's, Everything. The story is 14+, and that is a generous rating as I think anyone even swears in it haha, so there is no need for adult themed artwork. Backgrounds, I was originally going to go around and take photos of the locations but there are places I can't go with a camera without upsetting people. Mainly inside people's houses haha So background could be the easiest part.
There are four characters that need Sprites, some only needing a couple of expressions and clothing changes while others may get a bit more complicated. I don't have any estimates on CG's are going to be like yet. It's a short novel so nothing more than five I would think.
Programmers
I have a programming background, took it a bit in college and high school, but it's nothing to be excited about. I was going to do this in TyranoBuilder but if any programmer wants to join up and help me learn Ren'Py. We'll tear through this pretty quick. It's mainly a kinetic novel but there is one choice at the end.
Writers
There isn't much work for any writers. I could use an editor when the script is done but until I start doing bigger projects, I'm afraid that is all I have.
