HELP NEEDED

#1 Post by BlackEcho4460 »

Hello. I am a game developer that needs help.
I am looking for as much volunteer work as I can.

With What?
I am making a game called Love+Friends!

What's it about?

This is a game where just about anything can happen. You play as a school student nearing the end of their senior
year, and... Well, I'm planning on making it to where you meet 6 girls and you get to choose who to romance,
but we'll see.
I am planning on taking one of various approaches to this game.
A: You get to romance one of 6 girls
B: You can romance ANYONE you meet.
C: Both, or...
D: Neither

This game will also be in one of two styles. Either in a flat out visual novel format or an immersive 3D open world.
Either way, you'll be able to explore everywhere.
And, Here are the names of the 6 girls:
Issa Uzemaki: A timid yet confident girl, she is 19 years old and loves to play the piano.
Aki Akiko: A ditzy and energetic 18 year old, she loves to sing songs a lot.
Sachi Chiyoko: 18 years old, she is the extrovert of the girls, and is your school's best athlete.
Seiko Setsu: She is a rich 20 year old who hasn't a worry in the world.
Mai Michiko: This 19 year old girl may be shy, but she is the sliest gambler you've ever seen.
And finally...
Tori Etsuko: a 19 year old gamer, she is very curious of the world and mechanical objects.

This game will be made with Unity.
And I estimate the completion of the game will be between 1-4 years, depending on the amount of help I get.

What do you need?

Well, I need the following:

Voice Actors [3/?]:
I honestly don't know how many I will need, because I still haven't made all of the characters or finished the script for that matter, but I need people with a decent mic and have various voices they can do.
Requirements:
-NO BACKGROUND NOISE.
This means no talking in the background unless it is a prerecorded track and it's for part of the game.
-Know what you're doing. I have made a couple posts of this game on other places and have gotten auditions from 10 year old kids who have had NO EXPERIENCE. What am I getting at? If you've worked on other projects before, show me your work. If not, show me what you can do.

Artist [0/1]:
Since most of the graphics will be 3D models, I only need one artist to make art for concepts, pictures in-game (there will be posters), and Stuff like the logo art.
Requirements:
-(being a common theme) YOU NEED TO PROVIDE EXAMPLES OF YOUR WORK AND HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
I cannot stress this ENOUGH how important it is that you know what you're doing. This is a project where I'm looking for experienced people. I can't have people with no experience in this project.

Music composer[0/3]:
Of course, as with most games, I need music.
Requirements:
-Having the ability to provide a fitting atmosphere with just about any situation with soundtracks
-Experience
- Samples of their previous works

Writers[0/2-4]:
Now, while I am writing the script, I do need some help.
Requirements:
-Native language is english or at least fluent in english
-Samples of previous works
-EXPERIENCE
- Have the ability to work with others and contribute to form the script (I don't need one to go one way, while another person makes something completely different)

Why do you keep emphasizing "Experience"?
I want this to be a professional looking game with hours of gameplay.

Will we get credit of any kind?
Yes! Not only will your name be in the credits, but it will also be on the website when it gets up and running.

For the most part I want as
much volunteer work as possible, but I will end up having to make something for donations to afford help for some services I require.
If you have any questions, comments, or would like to volunteer, contact me with my email: ourdarkestfantasies@gmail.com
Or use my dicord: #7741
