About: Frostbite is a slice-of-life otome with a fairytale theme. The game begins with the MC getting lost (and found) in a blizzard, as well as an ancient story lost to time resurfacing. There are three romantic interests, one's personality dependent on choices made by the player.
Backgrounds: 7; all interior BGs take place in a castle made of ice.
Winter Landscape, Main Hall Room, Hallway (with slight variations), Decrepit Hall, Decrepit Room, Ballroom, Throne Room.
They don't need time variations at all. They can be simple in style with a watercolor type of texture/coloring like the sprite below:
