Hello everyone! For this year's Nanoreno I'd like to make a slice-of-life dating sim with mini-game elements.
Plot: You, a 'city mouse', have recently left the bustling city and bought an old farmhouse in the countryside. There you meet other anthro-people aka your neighbors who help you learn the ropes, possibly finding love along the way.
Features:
-Play as an androgynous mouse with custom pronouns
-Choose to date anyone from five anthro-characters
-Store important tools (and gifts) in an inventory
-Help your neighbors by offering to garden, bake, or woodwork in easy click-n-point activities
-Raise your stats and farming 'know-how'
-Keep track of your relationship with the cast through helpful meters
Characters: [Note: All characters are humanoid save for ears, tail, and horns.]
-Goat: An older (yet still handsome) goat who repairs the village's broken tools, as well as making wooden furniture and trinkets on the side. He's strong headed and stubborn, often times getting into trouble despite his age.
-Bull: A bull in the prime of his youth, he always feels the need to show off his exceptional strength and 'charm'. Despite his prideful personality he is caring and gentle. He works at the local grain store.
-Rabbit: A young woman who loves to stay active. She has her own organic garden she's quite proud of. If you can get her to slow down for a few minutes you'll find she's easy-going and loves a goodhearted challenge.
-Sheep: An adorable little sheep who works at a bakery. Though they can be spooked easily, they are caring with a mild personality, and quite dedicated to their craft.
-Cow: A young woman full of love for just about everything and anyone. Her love often comes off as maternal, always making sure everything is okay like a mother would. Despite her untrue rap of being air-headed, she's quite intelligent, though it's often outshined by her large personality.
What we're looking for: We decided to add an extra writer to our team! The job would consist of idea bouncing, feedback, and route writing. I'll do a good portion of the writing myself, but it would be nice to have some extra help. That way the script will still continue to be written as I 'program' the game into the engine! If you're interested feel free to reply or send a PM~
(I know it's getting close to the deadline but I'm confident in the team; I know we can put out a demo at least but I'd like to be able to release a full game/all the routes)
