I will say the plot has been recently updated, thus the game is very much still a work in progress. However, all sprite work is complete as well as some sample CGs.
About:
A clan of Oni must go undercover in the Castle City, posing as regular humans in order to retrieve a mystical artifact to save their leader, who also happens to be Moriko's parent.
Themes: Family, Friendship, Loyalty, Forgiveness
The game will most likely end up being rated PG-13/16 for swearing, action and light blood.
Note:
There is talk of revenue-share, the full game being sold with support via either Patreon or Kickstarter. This would be discussed with all team members, everyone getting a cut or share. However, please don't let this be your only incentive for joining, as your potential share would be influenced by how well the game is marketed along with other factors.
Open Roles:
BG Artist: I would prefer an artist whose style matches or at least fits well with the sprites (see bottom of post). The amount of backgrounds is roughly 9, with time of day differences. I will note that the total amount and specifics will rely on the updated plot. Potential BGs include landscape, building interiors, city street, etc.
