Hello everyone!

I'm looking for A Background Artist for my Upcoming Romance Visual Novel Game Called "What is Love?"


Synopsis of the game

While most high school students are infatuated with the idea of love...

16 year old Natania Jones; on the other hand; wants nothing to do with it.

...but when the most popular boy in school asks Natania for a favor...

Will this chance meeting finally convince her to change her mind about love?

You decide!


I already have character designs and photo references prepared to assist with the creation process


Progress:

Story for full version and demo is finished

Music is in development with 5 songs already finished

Voice Acting for All Characters Completed

GUI in works but will be completed once sprites are made.

Programming is finished.

4 Character Designs finished

Game Poster in the works.

Sprites in the works.



The only thing that is preventing the demo from being released is the artwork, hence why I'm creating this post and reaching out to you guys for help

I would like to ask more specifically how many sprites + expressions and CGs you would need?

I’d really like to help.
I’d like to do cg and sprite, not very good at bg.
Here are some samples of my work, they are pretty old as I haven’t had much time to work on these due to college then work, but I know my skills has only gotten better

I would like to ask more specifically how many sprites + expressions and CGs you would need?

For Sprites

There are 13 characters in the game

9 of the characters need expressions (about 5 expressions or more each)

The other 4 characters will only need 1 default expression.

Each character will only need 1 pose except for the Lead Male who will need 1 additional pose.

For CGs

There are about 36 CGs in total (some may be reused/might become BGs instead)

About 12 CGS for the demo game

and the other 24 CGS for the full version of the game (again some might be turned into BGs)


For BGs

There are 23 BGs in total (some may be reused/might become CGs instead)

About 13 BGs for the demo (including time of day)

and the other 10 for the full version of the game


I will also need

1. Someone to create an updated poster for the game, and I will provide references and details for how I would like it to look
2. An additional pose for each character to use in the Game's GUI
