[Free] Looking for 1/2 male voice actors for a sci-fi cinematic animation (Credit will be given!)

#1 Post by Cyresto » Sat Jan 11, 2020 3:10 pm

Hey everyone!

Right off the bat, work for my project will be fully credited by name/alias at the end of the animation, complete with any website url, twitter handle, etc that the actor wants, and the animation will be played in front of a lot of industry professionals who attend my universities graduation exhibition- it's primarily a game/technology uni so we get a pretty good turnout!

I'm currently in my final year of uni studying 3d animation. For my final year project, I'm working on a couple-minute-long horror sci-fi cinematic called 'Arrival'.

(Above is a render of some of my progress so far!)
In this animation, a marine investigates a ruined hotel in a post-apocalyptic world and ends up being attacked and ultimately killed by aliens.
I'm looking for 1 or 2 male voice actors, depending on the person. I need a voice for a man over the marines headset who checks up on him twice, and has about 2 lines. I also need a 'voice' for the marine, who won't actually speak, just shout/breathe heavily, etc. To this end i'm sure one person could do both jobs, given they put on a slight voice for the lines so it isn't obvious it's the same guy, but I will be fully open to anyone who only wants to do one of these two parts. The animation is planned to be about 2 or 3 minutes long, and split into 3 scenes. As of writing this, I'm about half way through my first scene, with my deadline being the end of March this year.

For anyone interested, the best way to contact me would be on my work email cyrestoanimation@gmail.com, but in case I don't check it because i'm at work or something, please leave a reply on this thread so I know you're interested! Cheers!
