Star Project is now released in English!

Not sure if it's old news to everyone here, but thought I'd write up one for those who don't know yet. Star Project, found here --> http://starproject.galaxy-games.com/ <--- is an online visual novel + dating sim + idol maker, all rolled up in one. You can even customize your guy! And since it's online I believe we'll be updated over time. The Korean and Japanese version has a few more guys released, but for now the English one that just entered open beta has only one -- but it's fully functional and playable!

Just thought I'll PR it here for more players, I'd love to see the game take off. =D

I've been holding off mentioning it because I don't like their advertising (I roll my eyes at people claiming to be the first at anything when they're so clearly not) but if you're interested in this sort of web-based game, My Candy Love has also launched in English.

I started playing this yesterday. And I really like it so far!!! It just annoys me that I have to wait so much and after that ring thingie expires- I'd have to wait even more. I understand they want to make money, but still...

And I don't like that I sometimes feel really lost in the plot. Like at first- I had no idea where to start before randomly clicking and checking everything and I couldn't make any connection to the story.

The game @papillon mentions looks nice too, I'm going to check it out!

In the end I want to say that I really like the idea of these online games!

I started playing this yesterday. And I really like it so far!!! It just annoys me that I have to wait so much and after that ring thingie expires- I'd have to wait even more. I understand they want to make money, but still...

That's my problem with it too. If they'd just speed it up a little bit, I guess something like the speed at which Facebook games refresh or slower than that would work. As such I could spend all the energy accumulated in a day in five minutes. And this is working at x2 speed!

I dunno, don't most MMOs do their best to make sure their players are hooked on the game instead? I'd understand making people pay and slowing them down to make sure they don't finish all the content in a week, but this seems more like wet blanket speed. XD

But well, nothing's perfect and all. I guess I'll just have to play it once or twice a day~

I really don't mind games that limit your playtime. Especially when there's plenty of little things you can do If you don't feel like quitting right away. It just means you can't waste all your time playing it.

I have to say, this game is really well-written, even with all the little spelling errors.

Well, even in the Japanese version, you'll need to wait for it anyway. It refills every minutes so you can take a break for an hour and come back again(be noted that it was the Japanese one I'm playing not the english).
