I saw a couple posts about it on Kotaku before, but not an all out review. Nice to see any OELVN getting coverage like this, especially POSITIVE coverage.
The escapist is quite a bit more negative, but it still seems to end on a rather positive note as well.

Never mind this. I replied wrongly since I misunderstood the content of previous post.

I love it! It's fun. Reminds me of Castlevania. But damn, it's almost as hard. I was stuck att Lilly for ages.

My 1st post. My 1st VN. I must say, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Played just about every scenario available and found myself teary eyed in every one. I'm 62 for crying out loud. While reviewing cetain scenes dialogue could definitely be better but with nothing to compare it to at this point I'm impressed at the amount of work that goes into any VN. I tip my cap revealing lack of hair on top to all you artists both visual, sound, story and dialogue. I am totally jealous of your skills and look forward many more VN's inthe future.
Any suggestions as to what I should play next?

Narcissus is an excellent visual novel. Short, but very moving.

Yeah, it took me until now to finally give the full version of KS a chance. I have now read the bad ending, and I will eventually read at least one character path. It still baffles me that it has a good reputation, for the following reasons...
* It's only BxG. I figured most fans prefer either varied pairings or no pairings.
* It has some NSFW content. I figured most fans were only interested in worksafe material.
* It's just a visual novel. I figured most fans look for gameplay, and have little interest in stories.
* It seems sincere. I figured most fans prefer broad comedy and parody.
* It's written by English speaking individuals. I figured most fans assume that anything tagged as "OELVN" is a cheap imitation with poor art and writing. (I don't personally believe this, but...)
* It's freeware. I figured most fans believed in the motto "you get what you pay for."

I have been wanting to give this visual novel a try, but am a bit scared off by the 18+ content. I know that mature scenes can be turned off, but nudity is still present. Just a question....is the nudity mostly above the belt? Because below the belt is....well, if there's anything shown below the belt of a guy then I might have to skip this XD

No worries. Almost all is above the belt. And sex is, realistically, more often awkward than outright sexy. After all, these are teenagers with little previous experience in the "making love" department.

Ah, thank you very much! Then I might give it a go to see what I think of it. I just remember a friend of mine highly recommending it to me, and she knows how I am with sexual content and told me about the option (which she uses herself), so I think she would know that below belt would bother me, LOL. Thanks for responding ^.^

No dicks are seen during the playthrought of the game.
That said, you really are doing yourself a serious disservice by skipping the adult content though.
