I decided I'm getting 3DS for this. :L The design was awesome and everything feels super upgraded. I won't be giving a damn about new releases of otome games for this(3DS is quite expensive...￥15,000...worth 3 months of my allowance). You can customize your character from hairstyle and color to stuff and stuff. I'm seriously craving for this.

The story was quite similar to friends of mineral town+harvest moon ds cute plot game. Your kind parents gives you a small land in some village as a present and after you moved there, one day a man came and tells you about how the youngsters in the village slowly moves to big cities and stuff. So the hero/ine decides to make his/her bokujou(farm) a big time to attract people to come back to the village once and for all.

Maybe I'm biased since I love bokujou monogatari. I do remember saying I won't be getting 3DS until probably later or never but that was completely busted up after seeing this. :L I'd give up buying the platinum edition of tokimemo GS premium just to buy a 3DS and get this.

Oh, Harvest Moon~♡ I loved playing the original, 64, and A Wonderful Life back in the day. Recently I bought the PlayStation version, then realized it wasn't the same as the 64 version. Then I tried to buy A Wonderful Life off of eBay for, like, $5, but then the auction was canceled for no given reason. They've been coming out with a lot of Harvest Moons recently, so I've kinda fallen behind on playing them. I think the last one I played was... Magical Melody?

Anyways, I do have a fondness for customization, so this looks pretty interesting. Unfortunately, I've heard the previous 3DS Harvest Moon game had a lot of problems with it freezing up after playing for a while. I don't know if this version is using the same code, or if it is, if they'll fix it. GameFAQs lists the developer for this version as Marvelous AQL, as opposed to Marvelous for the first 3DS game, and from what I can tell from message boards, this game was announced back in 2010, so it may have been coded from scratch.

Personally, I'd be a lot more interested in the 3DS if it wasn't region locked. Uncool move, Nintendo.

Well, I think it's up to the developer whether or not they region lock the games, but I don't think anyone has yet.

The customizable thing pretty much sold it for me. It's what I've been wanting since MFoMT gave you the ability to change clothes colors. I mean, it was still the same pair of overalls, but for a game that's got so much repetition, getting to stare at a new and more colorful you is a brilliant change. Same with Twin Villages, with the whole costume change thing. oxo

Dammit, I was hoping this is one Nintendo console I don't have to buy, but then Harvest Moon comes around and delivers a CUSTOMIZABLE game. All my dreams are going to come true... On a console I don't have T__T

Ahem, and the reason why I'm on my no-monthly-otome game strike, just so that I could buy a 3DS, I might die once i got hold of this :3 I mean, I loved twin villages and this one surpasses it even more I hope 3ds became cheap after a month(impossible wish) Dx

the design your own xxxx pretty much sold me here too. I mean, you can design your own farm too? Tempting enough to get 3DS even though I hate 3D.

What I do love about the developers is that they really do listen to their fans when it comes to HM games.. people started demanding outfit changes, they delivered, more animals? They delivered. Now customization... ahh finally <3 Heheh, what I don't like is that by the time NA gets an HM game, a new one is in the process in Japan and it makes me forget about the one I just got for awhile.. I still need to play Twin Villages more.

I was planning on getting a 3DS anyway due to Animal Crossing, so I guess I don't mind this at all. xD I do hope they make another, more improved game like Animal Parade in the future. For some reason I do love the wii HM games.. combine that and Land of Origin and it would probably be my favorite game ever.

---there was rumors that this one will be voiced but seems like it was just... yeah, "rumors". But hey, I'm sure the next game of harvest moon might be voiced then since this rumor finally spread in the jp.net message boards and someone just said the creator loves listening to their fans right? xD

I've been doing a few text translations for this game, just based off of wiki uploads.
And it's made me want this game so much! I almost have enough money to buy it and a 3DS. I'm so going after Neil. <3

You can even make the main character cross-dress... yesssss! I can play as a boy, dress him up as a girl, and have pseudo-yuri marriage. lol. This is looking like the most fun HM game yet.

Well, I only chase boys(most of the time). The only bishoujo game I touched was Star driver and Code Geass(cause there's slight BL) and love plus(during the boom of 'Idiot geek marries his DS' time. I was curious on what the bloody thing this geek saw on Nene to do such an amazing world-blowing idiocy).

Rune Factory 4 will let you play as a female character from the beginning though, so it's not just a bishoujo series anymore. =)


Anyway I should be getting the game this weekend.

Plus, it doesn't seem like this game puts censors on what your lover calls you. For this character, it's so fitting to have him call you that... lol
