Square Enix's prank: a Final Fantasy Otome game

By what I gathered, I'm far from being the only one who would buy the game, if it were made.

Don't worry, they're just trolling the fanbase. Some people like me would buy it, some were neutral and others disliked the joke. I doubt they're going to do it.

I think it's just because someone trolled them, saying he or she would only play Final Fantasy if it were an otome game XD. So they trolled the person back.

You know what really amazes me about this? Square Enix actually made some of the stuff. I mean, they made scenes and the art and I heard that they had some of the voice actors say some lines/script just for the sake of the prank.

"It's cancelled!"
A few weeks ago:
"No it's not! But we have no new footage to show and can't say when it will be released!"

At this point, if Square-Enix says anything about Final Fantasy, I'm no longer listening. Let me know when Final Fantasy 27 comes out - the poster for that one looks pretty cool.
