Florence (freeware VN/RPG hybrid)
While browsing rpgmaker.net for the first time in a while, I stumbled across Florence. It was made with RPG Maker VX Ace, apparently "in 22 hours total." (I don't know if it's related to any game jam.) The creator states that Florence is a story-based game with an emphasis on exploration, and that it includes both drama and romance.

Interesting; I might give this a try. Can't say I'm huge on the art, but it looks like it'll be fun.
