Actually, there was a couple of times I played that I gave her a regular diet and she never got fat - she fit into the party dresses just fine. =)
That must be because you never tried to stick her into the "dragon suit" or the Love Goddess outfit. Really, the game considers anything beyond Kate Moss as overweight. Just look at the measurements, weight and size and ask yourself if this can be considered healthy. (Not to mention that there is a pill in the game that increases bust size >.<)
I've played the game extendively and found a few things.
1.) The game measures weigt in Kilograms, and her starting weight, and how easily she gains weight is determened by her blood type.
2.) its hard to get it to work with XP. you need a DOS emulator or VMDSound (just google search it) after u instal it just right click on any dos game and click on Run with VMDSound
3.) the music is set to off by default. u can turn it on by opening DOSINST.exe (with VMDSound for XP users)

I get annoyed with how often people think Anime in general is just porn and stuff...*growls and sighs* There's more to Anime than the Hentai stuff and nudity itself ( which is as far as PM2 goes without censorship ) is not porn!

Actually, it was just released in Taiwan (PC; Kingformation) and Japan (PS2; Cyberfront). The drawback for some players is that the Japanese version is only available on PS2.
I'm not sure how people associated Anime with porn....Anime (Japanese Animation) has NOTHING to do with porn...The Lunar series is considered Anime - certainly the movies are - and that doesn't really have anything to do with porn...HENTAI has a porn affiliation but ANIME doesn't...if I go to Home of the Underdogs and do a search for Anime I'll get all kinds of games that have Japanese Animation but have nothing to do with porn =)

Actually.... Hentai anime is still anime. Yes, it's still animated porn. But the term "anime" refers to the fact that it's animated in general (i.e. not live-action.)
Yes, the fact that many people associate all anime with the hentai stuff is still aggravating, though.
GETTING BACK TO THE TOPIC, though. (i.e. please stay on-topic.) Uh. Oh yeah! PM2 wasn't killed because of the alleged porn... it was more of one of the companies involved falling apart than that. I remember reading an article about it somewhere....
well, after ages of trying, and a random person placing a bet on whether or not I could actually finish with a decent result, I managed to beat it with relatively good stats.
it probably doesn't help to say that for the first four years I was regularly exiting and editing my save file, but what he doesn't know won't hurt him in this case.
I did find out how to speed the game up (F3) and how to get what I want when I want without exiting the game.
