Visual Novel Wishlist

[Caveat Lector]

What are some VN titles you have on your "wish list"--meaning you've heard a lot about them and you really want to check them out, but for whatever reason (mainly due to your wallet) you have yet to buy them but eventually will in the future? Or what about upcoming titles you're hyped for?

At the moment, the one title I really, really, really want to buy is Rewrite. I've been hyped for it ever since I saw the second opening:

I dipped my toes into the blog reviews, and the reviews were mixed. But every time I see that opening, I see this huge, epic story play out in my head and although it doesn't match up with the summaries I've read, I get really hyped up for it. I'm probably going to prefer the story in my head to the actual one I read through (so maybe I should write it myself?), but I STILL want to read/play it! I was so, so happy to hear it finally got that English patch, but...the price on Jbox is not a happy one. I'm waiting until after my next credit card bill comes in before purchasing it.

Also, whenever I browse VNDB, once in a while I come across a title with an interesting premise and artwork but no current English translation. I'm especially intrigued by Black Wolves Saga, but again, when I found it on Amazon.jp, I converted the yen price into Canadian dollars and... Not for a while yet.

As for upcoming titles...as soon as Kara No Shoujo -The Second Episode- and Cartagra are available for pre-order, I'll be there, no matter how much they cost together.

The sequel to ZE :VLR (I'm not exactly sure what to call it)
Danganronpa
Kara no Shoujo 2 and Cartagra
Steins;Gate
Hakuoki 3D
A bunch of games in the WiP/Idea section of Lemma Soft

I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but yeah that's my list. Oh and do Professor Layton and or Ace Attorney games count? Some people consider them to be VN hybrids while others don't. Either way I'm excited for them as well X3.

There sure are a lot of cool sounding VNs/VN Hybrids out there. It makes me very happy.

I've played X-Note and Area-X. I haven't finished either of them yet even after trying several times, but it's fun! ^-^

I would love to get Trains of After Life, Danganronpa, and Steins;Gate. It looks like Danganronpa is going to be localized and another game publisher is picking up Steins;Gate, so I'm pretty excited.

If I ever get a PSP Vita, it will be for Danganronpa.
