I stumbled across Familiarity because it was recently added to the #VN-Devs Talent and Project Repository. It looks like they're writing "...an adventure/romance game set in an alternate Victorian Era with a sci-fi/steampunk twist." The main character and the first of three heroines already have profiles.
I'm a bit worried, since this project seems ambitious, and since I don't know if they intend it to be freeware or an indie game. Hopefully they'll stay organized and manage conflicts well.

Re: Familiarity (BxG, sci-fi/steampunk)
Sorry if this is a bump or necro of some sort, but I've only just become aware of this thread's existence. I'm the co-manager of the group developing this project, and while we appreciate the exposure, we are planning on creating a properly located and well-organized thread here on LSF when we are ready. I will say that the game will be free, but a release date is still too far into the future to make any estimations.

Thanks for commenting, Lunch. I also appreciate the confirmation that your project will be freeware.
You, and/or your fellow creators, can create a thread in Player's Pavilion when you feel it's appropriate. Start your topic about Familiarity in Works in Progress. Or if you want to wait until it's finished, Completed Games. Until then, feel free to use this forum. There's nothing in the rules that states you need to finish writing something first.
