Okay, time to explore some of my new fetishes...!

Anyway, are there any Visual Novels that concentrate on non-human characters? Something like elves, cat girls, demons, angels, etc...

Yes, there are quite few. Here are the Ren'Py ones:

Elven Relations
Of Apes and God
Dante's Wrath
Kiwi's Valentine
There are some translated ones as well. For example, Let's Meow Meow (H) is all about animalgirls.

(Aside from the Catgirl one, but you can probably guess why by now);
Keep 'em coming, though!

Oh yeah, I forgot all about robots and androids. Sci-Fi is cool as well ^^ For that fact any genre is cool as long as they are non-humans in the game.
Going to check out Planetarian right away.

Brave Soul is a great bishoujo RPG (commercial), and one of the girls in it (my favourite
) is a catgirl.

Seconded but I haven't picked my favourite yet. Still it's a good pick for a fan of RPG and/or Fantasy
