places to buy

#1 Post by papillon » Mon Feb 14, 2005 11:22 pm

Anyone know any affordable places to track down Japanese import games?

I'm currently trying to get my hands on a legit copy of Princess Maker Refine, but the only place I can find it for sale is himeya for $80 and that's a bit OUCH for a game I can't even read without spending months to hack a translation. Yes, I know Japanese games are expensive. Still.

(Oh - I did find it for playstation somewhat cheaper. I need a PC version.)

I've tried to navigate yahoo japan auctions and found tons of cheap listings for the early games in the series, big stacks of them... but no listing at all for the Refine version.

This seems to have it:
NCSX

Maybe has it:
DVDBoxOffice

This, I dunno:
Lik Sang

But yeah it will most likely be expensive... I paid $60 for a Japanese import game. But due to British currency, it was a bit cheaper than that.

... sadly, *all* of those are for Playstation. Which as I said doesn't help. :) Thanks for the try, though.
