Chinese or Japanese Princess Maker 2?

I saw this item on EBay...

And I was wondering if anyone knows/can tell from the packaging if this is the Japanese or Chinese version of Princess Maker 2.

It looked like Chinese to me (the title started with the characters for "bishoujo", not the katakana for "Princess Maker"), so I passed on the item, but let me know if I was wrong.

It looks Chinese to me, with the lack of any hiragana particles or anything. I tried to look at the rest of the text, but the pictures are so small. =/

I know... I couldn't even make out the rest of the characters in the title to do a proper Google search.

I just got independent confirmation that the version of Princess Maker 2 in the EBay listing is, in fact, Chinese.

I believe there was a Chinese release of the game, so it is most likely a valid copy. However, it's not the version I was looking for.
