Looking for BG Artist

Greetings, everyone!

Long time no see! Thanks to the amazing efforts of our sprite artist, we are mere months away from having our first Visual Novel "Women of Xal" ready to advertise on Kickstarter with a demo! We have a programmer, composer, writer, and graphic designer. Now all we need to create the demo is find us an official background artist! You can either name your quote for post-Kickstarter fees or you can opt for the "Art for Music" option:

Game Title: "Women of Xal"
Genre: Harem / Straight / Bi /Gay
Writing Style: Sassy. Think Persona 4's 2nd person narration, but with a touch of...a different culture
Game Length: 10-15 Hours
Synopsis: In a fantasy matriarchal world, you must compete among other young women for the once in a lifetime shot at financial security by toeing the line between cherished friend and malicious foe in a economically political atmosphere. There may also be a harem of boys of various shades of personalities. Possibly.

Dimensions: 1920x1080
What we need right now: 7-10 BGs for the demo (Workload split amongst BG team.)
Animated: Preferred, but not mandatory (Loopable small things like rotating fans, moving clouds, ect.)
Style: Flexible
Deadlines: Yes (How long varies by the artist.)
Budget: The artist we choose's quote (Post-Kickstarter)
Extra Note: "Xal" is a fantasy, whimsy-inspired world that is heavy on the clouds and otherworldly environments. Make sure you can do this for both interior and exterior designs. Example:

Payment Options:

Default: Paypal. You are paid your rates 50% up front and 50% after the final design for every image. No bonuses or music regardless of how well the Kickstarter may or may not do.
Revenue: If you take the gamble to get paid only if the Kickstarter succeeds, you are paid for the work you've already done, plus a "faith/invested" bonus that varies on the final KS budget. Will also compose an original tune that you can use commercial and royalty free.
Music for Art: For drawing backgrounds and/or CGs, I will compose original orchestral tunes that you can use commercially and royalty free. You can play "Brilliant Shadows" or "Pale Spectrum's" demo to get a decent idea of what I can do. (Or just listen to my most recent demo reel) This option negates all financial payment, however. The amount of music is dependent on the type and quantity of BGs.

Though we haven't yet responded to everyone, we do appreciate your submissions! So thank you very much for all those who were interested! We've opened up and read every submission and compared rates and quality and arrived at a decision that would best compliment this project. If you just now coming in and wanted to try working on a project for the team, you can still PM or send an email to us! Just know that only the "Music For Art" option will be available for all non-WoX productions!
