Hi,
I’m planning to dust off Musketeer: After Winter and take it out of hiatus for Winter Jam. The demo was first released for Winter Jam 2020.
I’m looking for a narrative designer/writer to help me beat my story into shape so I can continue the demo/game.
At the moment, I’m not entirely certain what else. This is going to be a long-ish game, so if your want to stay on for the duration, then I am open to negotiations working as a team. Honestly, I suck at narrative design/drafting, so this would probably be a good thing for the game.
The current demo/branch of the game is a pretty strict adaptation of Dumas’Twenty Years After. Mordaunt, the antagonist of “Twenty Years After,” is the main character. Later branches will allow for more original re-imaginings of the story, including a romance (1 love interest (M/M).
Here is the demo from the last Winter Jam, if you are interested in taking a peek.

I intend for this to eventually be a paid game. I believe everyone brings something different to the table, so just tell me what you bring and what you’d like to get out of your part in the project. We’ll go from there!
My current Roles in the project:
- Artist
- Programmer
- Narrative designer & writer (and believe me, the story is suffering for it! Haha)
DM me here or contact me on Twitter (https://twitter.com/thestudiodahl), if interested!
