EDIT: A composer has been found. Thanks for all that applied. It was a tough decision to make!Synopsis wrote:Locked Souls tells the story of Luke -- a hapless individual who for reasons now entirely out of his control, finds himself starting the first day of a job he never thought himself capable of. He was now a prison guard.
Dropped into a cold, and hostile environment with only the most basic of training at hand, he quickly discovers that he had perhaps signed up for more than he ever intended for.
A particular group of inmates run rampant within their home, caring very little for the rules in place, as they make Luke's first night at the prison a memorable one. A night that will set off a chain of events that the poor prison guard will never be able to untangle himself from, no matter how hard he tries.
So yeah, hiya there, guys. I'm a bit new to these kinds of threads, so bear with me if things are a little messy. I'll try to make sure there's enough information.
As the thread title implies, I'm searching for a composer for my game--someone to create a range of music tracks to give my game a unique identity.
At the moment I'm in the process of bringing together a bunch of new elements for the game as I work to radically change it from what you currently see in the dated WIP thread. So I'm putting together new sprites, new background art, and even voice acting is in the works for the first major demo release I hope to do soon.
The only thing missing now is music, since I've decided stock stuff won't cut it if I'm going to such lengths with every other aspect of it.
The game will cover a wide range of themes and moods, ranging from cheerful and upbeat, to dark and foreboding as the game progresses, so I'm hoping to find someone that can cover a broad range of those kinds of songs.
I don't have any exact, strict budget in mind currently for the music since I'm not 100% sure of the pricing per song or how that works, but I'm aiming to release the game free of charge, strictly non-commericial, so please keep that in mind when coming to me with rates and stuff.
If you're interested, please either post here, or PM me with samples of your work and/or any further questions relating to the job.
Thank you for taking the time to read this thread and I look forward to hearing from you all!
