Looking for a programmer for turn-based gameplay (closed)

I'm looking for someone to code a "minigame" for my game, Skyfish, using Ren'Py. The gameplay is actually a somewhat critical part of the game, so please don't apply if you think you won't be able to commit to the project. There's a link to the project thread in my signature.

We are offering a modest pay - feel free to contact me with your rates but please keep in mind we're not a full-fledged game studio yet and I'm paying all this out of my own pocket, and as a college student I don't have too much to spare. Profit-sharing is also an option; we're planning to put the game on itch.io and possibly Steam once it's finished. Initial contact via PM or a reply to this thread please, but later on it'd be good if we used Skype.

We've designed a battle system but it's not your typical turn-based final fantasy -type gameplay. The goal is to give commands to the crew of an airship, but each action takes time so the player needs to proritize their actions. We need the programmer to create a flexible framework that allows us to change the type of enemy ship the player is facing; each ship should have slightly different difficulty and behaviour. Later on in the production we need the programmer to put these different enemies into the system they've created.
We have almost all the assets needed to create the tutorial level, and we'd like to include it in our demo, which is basically almost done except for this battle system.

Examples of things that we need:
-A section displaying messages from the crew, where the new messages appear from the top and older ones move down to the bottom and finally disappear.
-A menu with commands the player can give to the crew
-A view from a window to the outside of the ship; moving, possibly randomized clouds/stars and a floating enemy ship
-An ingame tutorial
-No complex AI needed - only basic behaviours
-An animated sprite running on the screen from point A to point B to point C etc when player clicks a point (graphics will be provided)
-plus a lot of other stuff

I'll send the game design document with details of the gameplay we need to anyone who applies, as long as they promise not to share it to others. I may also be able to provide my other programmer's attempt at creating this if he agrees to share it; he's new to programming so he realized that this is above his skill level. It may or may not be useful, and it's definitely very messy, but it may be an option.

Again, please apply by PM or a reply to this thread (though PM's are preferred).
