LF programmer to develop 2 somewhat complex systems

#1 Post by crimsonnight » Fri Aug 05, 2016 5:03 pm

Hi team!

With support from the ren'py community, I managed to code and release my own visual novel http://store.steampowered.com/app/363410, despite my coding skills being pretty far from amazing.
I'm currently working on a horror VN that has a couple of pretty complex features I could use some help with:

The first is a panic metre, detailed here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=36833&p=424179; the system has two parts to it. The primary function I'd like is for the screen to have a warm glow (as if emanating from a lamp), that gradually dims the longer the player doesn't move the mouse (they need to 'shake the lamp'). The second part is that I'd also like to use some 'if' functionality with it to increase tension, for example 'if panic level = 100 then set music volume to 0.1'. As you can see from the thread, some work has been done on this already.
The second system I'd like to include is one that allows for hidden collectables to be featured in certain scenes. Clicking on a special object/art asset will unlock it's entry in some sort of gallery/notes section (accessible from the main + pause menus).

If you're confident you can complete these two tasks, please either reply here, or contact me at: neocrimsonnight@gmail.com - your name will of course appear on the credits as well as the 'team' page of the site (along with any info/links you'd like me to include) on top of payment for your time =)
