[CLOSED] Looking for Chibi Artist

#1 Post by gamerbum » Fri Aug 12, 2016 9:45 am

Hello!

I'm looking for someone to draw ~9 chibi CGs for my commercial project's demo. In at least one case, there's a (small, cute) dragon. Most CGs would have 2 or more characters. The backgrounds would mostly just be color gradients or patterns, so there's no need to draw whole scenes. Certain CGs may need small variations (such as facial expressions or characters that weren't there originally coming into the scene). The demo's set for August 31st, but there's no real deadline on these since I plan on updating the demo every now and then.

Ideally, I'd like to hire someone who's willing to do more work in the future as the demo only covers a small portion of the game.

About the game:
It's a GxB, GxG game set in a fantasy world that's loosely based on a medieval setting. It's dark at times, but mostly lighthearted and cute. There are fantasy races (werewolf-type things, not elves) and magic.
While there's quite a bit of work done on the project, release is still a ways off.

Those interested, please send me samples & your rates. Thank you!

Hello there, I'm interesting in the position. I have attached some chibi examples along with the link to my deviantart if you'd like to see more of my work.

Rates:
Chibi's are 25$ each, any of the small variations you mention would be included with that price.

I can only accept money by paypal.
As for payment, I usually ask for 50% before and the rest after the artwork is complete.

I attached 3 files of different styles I can do with chibis. I usually find that on many occasions people enjoy a more unique western style of chibis rather than the typical moe Japanese/anime inspired ones. However, I can also do something a bit more eastern, and have attached a sample of a fully painted chibi in that style as well. I'm very flexible and can easily manipulate my work to fit your project.

If you're interested in working with me, you can email me at jwhitneyart(at)gmail(dot)com. You can find the rest of my work at my website, http://www.jwhitneyart.com, and my sketch/doodle blog, http://www.jwhitnee.tumblr.com

Thanks!
