[CLOSED] Seeking colorist for sprites and CGs

#1 Post by Perihelion »

Hi! I'm the lead developer for The Devil's Broker, and we're in the process of planning a character art overhaul to match our backgrounds better. Our character art currently looks like this:

We'll be redoing it in a similar style in terms of proportions, facial features, etc. but with much thinner lines and with more traditional VN soft cel shading. My current artist is going to handle the new line art, but I'm looking for a skilled, reliable artist to do the coloring once the lines are finished. I care more about quality than specific style, but here are examples of shading styles I like:

I expect coloring work to start in 2-3 months. I'm still drawing up an exact list of what I'll need, but here's a rough idea:
- Six character sprites, plus a small number of body variations in different poses
- Different expressions and arm positions
- 2-3 monster sprites
- 5+ CGs (characters only; backgrounds will be provided)

I'm hoping to make additional projects after this one, and I'd strongly prefer someone I can have a long-term business relationship with over the next few years. General interest in the project is also a plus.

If you're interested, please send me a PM with:
- Work examples
- Estimated cost per sprite and CG
- Estimated rate of work completion
- Examples of projects or other large commissions you've worked on in the past if you have any
- Long-term availability

Thanks! :)

Thanks so much to everyone who applied! I've got all the applicants I can handle right now and am probably not looking to consider anyone else.
