Hiring a Background Editor/Artist [CLOSED]

#1 Post by k8a »

Hello LSF!

I am a webcomic creator who is currently in need of a background editor/artist.

At this time, I'm looking for someone to go back and edit the backgrounds of my current archive (~50 pages) with more detail per my sketches/description. For example, I may give you a panel like this

and ask for these details included.

They do not need to be as heavily rendered as a VN BG.

Other times it may be an entire scene, and I'll give you some sketches and leave it to you to fit into perspective. Your own creativity is encouraged.

The backgrounds of my comic are currently only tall ships and oceans, so you'll be editing 17th-century-esque ship interiors and exteriors, mainly.

This is a paid gig, so please send me your portfolio, or if you'd like more information.

This has the potential to turn into consistent work, as I want to hire a background artist and/or colorist for future pages. So please also indicate your availability if you are interested for that work.
