Background Artist needed for Imperator - Roman Era Game

#1 Post by dvemail » Fri Apr 07, 2017 2:52 pm

We are looking to add one or more additional background artists to create work for our Roman era adult game Imperator. The work we need must be of very high quality.
There are many backgrounds needed at this time. Each background must be done with five (5) versions of lighting. The images must be supplied in a *minimum* of 4k resolution, with 8k originals preferred. The final game format after scaling and clipping will be 1920 x 1080.
  • * Morning
    * Day
    * Afternoon
    * Evening
    * Night
Each background will have specific, detailed requirements that it must meet. For example, Roman era buildings *mostly* did not have glass in the windows. They used vertical steel bars to keep our burglars and wooden shutters at night. First floor (ground floor) buildings almost never had windows, only upper floors. There are many details that are like that - which must appear in the backgrounds to seem realistic.

If you are interested, please see a couple of the links below for an example of the kind of thing we are looking for. The work is available immediately, and we can pay through PayPal or Payoneer.

Here is a small sample image: Image

I also need someone who can do highly detailed maps drawn from original source material.
Please contact us immediately if you are available for this kind of work.

What kind of maps are you looking for? I have some experience with illustrating maps, but I'd need to know what kind of map you're looking for, and what your schedule is like? I'm actually in the middle of doing a map illustration right now, so I need some time to finish it before I take on new work :D

Here's one of the map's I've made, it's an older work but the newer ones I've made are still (sort of) under NDA: http://i781.photobucket.com/albums/yy95 ... 91251d.jpg

As a part of the Imperator project (see some of the other threads) set in ancient Rome, we needs some area maps made. If you're up for a fairly significant effort, I can provide the following details.

What I am looking for is a set of *really* awesome Roman era / style maps. I have faked up a couple so far.

Here' s the top layer overlay that has the central Italian provinces that you travel to on it:

Each of the regions on that map will have an 'on-hover' hilight.

Underneath the overlays are the local region maps - Like these:

What I want is for all these - and several more regions to all be redrawn in an ancient style and all in the same colors and styles.
