Seeking CG Concept Artist - CLOSED

#1 Post by Esh »

Seeking concept artist to compose and conceptualize CGs for commercial visual novel. We are seeking someone with good anatomy and composition skills. Though a style match isn't strictly necessary, we would prefer someone with a good sense of facial anatomy/proportions as well.

Concept art should be clean sketches or line art with detailed people. Back ground elements will be left blank or minimal.

Artist needs to be able to produce at least one concept per week along the lines of the below image:

CGs involve 1-2 people who will typically be depicted waist up or higher. Occasionally a CG may need variations (such as small changes in position, etc.)

Currently there are around 25 CGs left to sketch out. We do have a concept artist working to complete these, but want to speed things up by bringing on another person.

Applicants need to be willing to communicate weekly to keep the team up to date on progress. We can communicate via email, skype or discord. We will never rush artists but we do at least need to be kept in the loop!

All payments will be made via PayPal.
Please note that we do not cover PayPal fees. It is the seller's responsibility - one we also carry the burden of when we freelance for other people. Charging fees to the buyer is a violation of PayPal's user agreement. If you are concerned about the 2.9%+ $0.30 fee, you are welcome to adjust your pricing accordingly.

You may contact us in this thread, via PM or by email at:
strawberriesandsteam@gmail.com

Messages should include the following:
Price range per commission
Average turn-around time per commission (we realize this can vary based on a lot of factors but we do like to have a general idea)
Any previous games worked on (prior experience with visual novels is not required but we like to know what you've worked on if you do have prior experience with them!)
Samples or a link to an online portfolio. Please makes sure samples are representative of your body of work. We know it's tempting to only show off your very best but we need an accurate representation of what your work usually looks like.
