Hello all, we at Veritenze LLC are looking to commission CGs for our first visual novel, "Seed of Amaranth!"
Seed of Amaranth is an approximately ~135,000 word visual novel being released on Steam this September. We are looking to pay to commission 4-8 custom graphics featuring pre-defined characters. We already have a dedicated character artist creating all of our character art, so the biggest factors when commissioning a CG artist are quality and the ability to match the style. See the below image for an example of our realistic anime-esque character style:
As mentioned, there is a wide range to the number of CGs were are commissioning. At minimum, we require four. Ideally we would like to commission eight, but we recognize that the quick turn around time can make this difficult. Again, our biggest concerns are quality and matching the style. Please apply regardless of how many applicable CGs you could make in this time. We are also open to the idea of commissioning multiple artists, so long as the style of each CG is either similar enough or complementary to the project.
We are releasing our visual novel in September 2018. As such, all work has to be done within the next three months. Ideally we are looking to have the first two CGs done by the end of June, so as to be included in our demo.
Each CG is character focused and occurs in a specific location. Most CGs feature two characters, with some having only one and some having three. We have a background artist as well, so background images will be available to base the CG setting on.
If you are interested, please email us at contactVeritenze@gmail.com. Include samples of your work so that we can quickly assess quality and style. Please also include any details on your pricing and schedule.
