[CLOSED] Writer for a new project

#1 Post by Bruni Multimedia »

About Bruni Multimedia
I'm Andrea, I'm Italian (so sorry about my english) and I am the owner of Bruni Multimedia, a one-man software house that developes Different Kinds of Visual Novels. The game I'm working on (General Practitioner) is on its way to completing development (it will take about a year but most work is done).
It has already been published on Steam's Early Access and other online retail stores as well and it's currently played by thousands of people around the world.
I'm also starting to define the new projects that will be developed by my software house in 2019-2020.

The Game
Episodic Visual Novel (six episodes per season) of Otome genre. While experience in writing otome is appreciated I'm also willing to consider newcomers as well. More details about the game will be explained in private as this project isn't still public. NFSW content will also be present, although nothing hardcore since this is going to be an adult-themed game albeit not a porn one.

The job
Each episode will consist of about 2.5 hours of gameplay with multiple choices (choices will change the outcome of other episodes). Each episode will be released on its own and should be about 20.000 words long. Episodes will be produced if the previous ones got success and work on them will start after they have been published.
You can write in Word/Other text editor. It's not necessary to write in Ren'Py, although it's a plus.

License
Game will be sold on online retail stores and crowdfunded on Patreon. You will be paid for your work and have no share of the game's incomes.

Credits
You will be credited on the game itself and on every news regarding the game's script with a link on your personal webpage, if you have one. Of course if you don't want to be credited at all that's also possible.

Deadline
Each episode will be released once every 3-4 months, since I also need to develop the other parts of the game this means you'll have to write the script in 2-3 months.

Payment
We can agree about payment methods. Payment is made per episode, not per season and it's 50% when you start working on it and 50% after you completed the job.
Above terms are open to discussion.

I can offer you 0,03$/word (about 600$ per episode, 3600$ per season). Please note again that Episodes will be produced if the previous ones got success and work on them will start after they have been published.
Above terms are open to discussion up to a point.

Requirements
Obligatory:
- Very good english text production (better than mine :D)
- At least one previous work as a Visual Novel writer, regardless of genre
- Availability to write NSFW softcore scenes

Pluses (not mandatory, nice to have to be chosen amongside others):
- Previous experience in writing Otome Visual Novels
- Basic medical knowledge
- Ren'py coding ability
- Knowledge of Japanese language for translating the game (economic conditions will change accordingly of course)

Hello! I'd be interested in working with you on your project! Is there an e-mail I can contact you at? Or is there some other form of communication medium you'd prefer to use? I'll gladly send in my (informal) resume, writing samples, and my references (if you need references, that is).

Thank you for this opportunity!

Thank you for all who replied to this. I already received many applications and I'm in the difficult process of choosing one, and I think I decided who to give the job to.
In a few hours all people who replied will receive an email telling them if they've been chosen or not. Thank you again, this site is full of wonderful and talented people!
