I could either do BG or sprites.

An approximate price quote FOR THE POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR.

If you PM with nothing but your portfolio and a generic pricelist, you will be ignored. I don't have the time or patience to contact every single artist asking for specific additional rates for commercial use, extra expressions, etc. ONCE AGAIN: YOU MUST GIVE ME A PRICE QUOTE FOR THE POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR.

This does not apply to all the artists that have contacted me, but it does apply to a vast majority of them. I apologize if I sound rude or aggressive, that is definitely not my intention. I just want to be as clear as possible.

I am interested in applying as a CG Artist and Sprite Artist.

For Sprites:
An approximated price quote for each fullbody would be between $30 and $40 with each minor change, such like expressions, adding $3 to the total price.
Other clothings will raise the price by $5.

For CG:
Each CG will be approximately between $45 and $55.

Hello there, I want to apply for the sprite artist position. I have previous experience since I've been working on visual novels for more than a year now.

As for the price:
- 6 full body sprites= 70$ x 6= 420$
- 8 x 6 expressions= 48 x 5$= 240$
- 2 costume changes= 2 x 25$= 50$
- 6 character designs= head and clothes design for 70$ x 6= 420$
* I'm assuming by your post each character has just 1 pose (no pose change), and just 2 of them have one costume change each.

ESTIMATED TOTAL= 1,130$


My general price list for sprites are:
- Sprites: Headshot: 25$ Bust: 35$ Half body: 50$ Full body: 70$
- Expressions: 5$ each.
- Pose change: 20$. This includes movement of arms, hands, feet or the head. Full redraws count as a new sprite (normally when the torso changes, or when the camera angle changes).
- New outfit: 25$ each.
- New hairstyle: 10$ each.

As for my character design, it includes 5 different suggestions for the head (face + hairstyle) + 5 for the body and clothes, which can be mixed and corrected.

Sprite Artist:
6 Character Designs (assuming this is just concept art as in sketches?): 216usd

2 Full Body Sprites with 1 pose, 2 outfits and 8 expressions each: 430usd expressions are free

4 Full Body sprites with 1 pose, 1 outfit and 8 expressions each: 860usd expressions are free

BG Artist: 200usd

CG Artist: 480usd

I am available for work as a Sprite/CG Artist!

I'm unable to fully quote for character designs as it would depend on what resources you already have planned, however I can give rates for my sprites. Note that I am paid in GBP (£) but will add approx conversions in USD

SPRITES
Fullbody with two outfits x 2 = £240 / $310 (This is a highball, negotiable depending on what the alt outfits are)
Fullbody with single outfit x 4 = £170 / $220
SPRITE SAMPLES:

Waist up on simple background x 4 = £200 / $260 (Assuming background is single colour/pattern)
