Hello! I am looking for someone to hire as a sprite/CG artist for a project I am calling "Is It Rando". The game is a life simulation game with a much bigger focus on character interaction than most life sims. While at first I will fund this myself, eventually I will make a Patreon page to get much more funding. Please read the following information before you apply :

1. Workload (While I have not decided the amount of sprite/CG work I will need for the finished game (although it will most definitely be way bigger than this), the Patreon demo will require linearts of) :

One young adult (age 20-25) average build female base and another for males (which both would come with a default outfit/hairstyle/eyes/nose/mouth and pose)

One young child (age 7-12) average build female base and another for males (and with the same requirements as the young adults

A CG of a young adult holding another one's hands

2. Pricelist (keeping in mind that this is just for linearts, and that we can negotiate on the price to add coloring when I am deciding on who to hire)

In order for me to pay attention to you're application, you must show me your pricelist. Admittedly I am more likely to hire cheaper artists, but nothing is wrong with asking!

3. Art style:

Since I cannot pay as highly as other commissioners (although you will still be paid) , I will not be that picky. That being said, I do like art styles like 6teen, Little Witch Academia, Boruto and Steven Universe.

4. Content :
The game will feature LGBTQIA relationships, PG-13 romance (like kissing and hand holding) and violence (nothing dealing with gore, but you might need to draw a character with a bloody nose, and there will be mentions of death)!


5. When Does This Begin:

I want to give myself some time to really focus on the applicants so I would say around late February or March.

I offer sprite packages, containing 1 pose, 1 outfit and 4 expressions of your choice. Here I will show you the full prices for each sprite package:

Full body sprite $20
Half body or Thigh up sprite $15

Hello there! I'm very interested in working in your project. I have previous experience since I've been working on visual novels for more than a year now. I read your conditions and themes and I don't have any objection.

If you are looking for just lineart, the price would be 25$ (bust), 33$ (half body), 40$ (full body).

My general price list for sprites are:
- Sprites: Headshot: 25$ Bust: 35$ Half body: 50$ Full body: 70$
- Expressions: 5$ each.
- Pose change: 20$. This includes movement of arms, hands, feet or the head. Full redraws count as a new sprite (normally when the torso changes, or when the camera angle changes).
- New outfit: 25$ each.
- New hairstyle: 10$ each.

Also, in case that you don't have visual reference for your characters I offer a character design service:
Clothes and body design: 45$. Face and hairstyle: 40$. Clothes + head pack: 70$.
Weapon or accessory design: $45. (if it's a very simple weapon or accessory the price may lower down up to 30$).
Each option includes 5 suggestions, which can be mixed and corrected.

If the client needs cheaper designs, I can make only 3 suggestions for each and lower the price proportionally.

Giving you a price range sounds hard to do in this stage since it sounds all concepts. With me we can tweek your style anyway you wish and that will impact the price. You can ALWAYS cut corners. If I'm the soul artist on the project: my ballpark guess for the art budget would be 1k but that's for everything. Though I doubt that'll be the case. I estimate around 500 USD. Again it all depends.
