I'm Ricky from love-joint.com and https://www.patreon.com/palmer/. I work as a programmer for the studio. We are now in need of a UI designer to join a development team currently consisting of 10 people.
We are currently in the graphical development phase of a new visual novel game, and need a professional UI designer to create a complete interface for it. The work consists of creating an initial “warning” screen, title screen, options screen, customization screen, save/load screen, and finally, an in-game screen with the normal text box with all the usual features you see in a VN game.
In addition to the above, the following are also required for this game:
- This project will be translated to a number of languages, so all buttons/labels need to be empty and designed in a way to easily accommodate different lengths of text.
- This game is designed to work on smartphones, tablets, and of course, computers; meaning the UI needs to look good regardless of screen size.
- This is a NSFW school themed game with a visual design that resembles our current game: DFD, and we want the UI to visually match this new game. Of course we will send images of the new game so you get a feeling of how it looks, and examples from DFD should you want it. We will also do everything we can to help you in the design process.
- This isn’t a Ren’py game, we use our custom made engine. Despite that, most of the sprites that would work with Ren’py will work with our engine. You’ll work closely with the game producer and programmer to make it work.
The deadline for this job is short. Starting today, we need to finish the UI design within 15 days, max. Please only contact us if you can do this work in the allotted time.
