I've been making vids, sprite doctoring, and BGs for VNs
(a bit of my stuff: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=55456 )
mostly Doki Doki mods.

I've recently started working on a story for a romance Neko VN (with some possible dark endings).
I have a "sketch" of the 3 Nekos and I'm looking for some one to make at least one into proper Character Art / sprite.

Some clarification was asked for so here it is:


- The project is very much proto. I'm looking for some Character Art / Sprites to use to create interest.

- The Nekos in this world are NOT people with cat-ears. They are very clever cats with opposable thumbs. They have different motivations than humans, and get bored with us easily. They are tool-users, and are tolerated because the keep the giant rat population in check.

- Please see https://discord.gg/Jp7h8Nf (channel towards the bottom called "NekoRama VN idea") for sketches and character descriptions before we chat.

- 99% of sprites out there look like they could be from the same game. Some, (DDLC, KS) are unique. I'm looking for more unique, so be daring!


I currently have 2 artists working on it, and I'm happy to have more!
...but there's no budget and its all coming out of my pocket.
So 1st come 1st served, economy is a factor.

Down the road, I'll take all the ideas from the artists and the one that most captures the feel will get hired to make all the sprites and character art.

Thank you all for the interest, there are A LOT of very talented people here and I'm happy to have made many new friends!


There are currently 7 artists making various aspects and so we're good at the moment.

However...
I was contacted by someone who said:

"...I really like (character) and would like to make (scene / sprite / etc) focusing on the face and leaving the rest as a sketch..."

Because there was genuine inspiration, targeted focus, and a very reasonable price (no budget atm!) - I was happy to say yes.
Something like this, when an artist is inspired, is something I really enjoy - so if you find yourself inspired and can make something less typical and distinctive - feel free to contact me still!
