We are hiring for a cg and sprite artist for a web series/visual novel (essentially a visual novel released in parts as a video over an extended period of time).
While we'll need a somewhat large set of beginning sprites and cgs, the story will slowly require new characters, new sprites for old characters and new cgs.
Due to this it will be fairly necessary that any artists interested will need to be able to continuously work over a large period of time and have an empty schedule.


The story is pretty basic as it's simply about a group of school kids exorcising spirits. The story does have a focus on death as it's about ghosts but it remains mostly lighthearted with a few tense or emotional scenes.
Some light scenes of violence have been planned but if you're a good fit for the job and aren't okay with it we can lower it or scrap excessive scenes. But ultimately the more skilled you are with and open to violence and horror you are, the better.
We're interested in an artist who can capture both goofiness and spookiness.

All styles are welcome as we keep an open mind and previous work history is unimportant.

The budget will be about 50$ per sprite (as that seems to be the going rate) but I'm willing to raise it if a particular sprite is tricky or if you simply think it's low. We're incredibly open about change and are fine with negotiation.

I work with a sort of semi-realistic style which is pretty flexible when it comes to lines style and shading style. As for how comfortable I am with violence, as long as it's not overly gorey I think I should be fine, but we can discuss details if you're interested in my art!
