We are a professional writer and developer duo who are creating original English visual novels. We are looking for an artist to complete an original character CG for a freeware project we will be sharing on itch and steam.
The visual novel will take about five minutes to play through and the concept of the game is that you, the reader, are taking a test administered by a demon girl to determine your soul’s value. However, there is an unexpectedly wholesome twist at the end.
We’re looking for an artist to complete a CG with an original demon-girl character that has three expressions along with a background. The demon girl will be sitting at a desk talking one on one to the reader in a dark interrogation-room-like environment. Though we’re not looking for a specific artstyle, imagine a graphic in the spirit of this scenario from DDLC https://imgur.com/GqHlzGy. We would also appreciate the background file without the character in it as well.
Our art budget is at around a maximum of $400 for industry-grade professional work. However, we are open to art commissions at all lower price points, and even at the high end we have some limited flexibility. If you'd like to recommend an artist you've worked with in the past, we would appreciate that reference as well.
