Taking a break until I have finished current commitments and sorted everything out!
Thank you for understanding.

I don't recommend anyone hiring this person - I commissioned her for 10 sprites, she insisted on making advance payment for all of them first and then just disappeared with the money.

Is that true?
It's sad, it's because of this sort of behavior that sometimes, the artists are not be taken seriously (u___u)
In my case, it happened to me otherwise. Make sprites and not be paid. And it becomes a vicious circle, we no longer trust each other.
So please, Halcyon. Respect your commitments as an artist.

It is true. :(
She was hired in August (2014) and got back in contact roughly every two months, usually with very little progress.

I told her over a month ago to contact us or we'd have to let people know and I haven't heard anything (neither has Katta). So yeah...
Very disappointing!

For us too! Now the game has to be delayed!

Yes it is true, and I sincerely apologize for letting my personal and family problems influence your commissions. I hope this experience does not negatively affect your impression of freelance artists in general.
I will finish anything I have committed to, and now that I'm back in school I'll be focusing on finishing what I owe and taking a break from digital art commissions completely until I have sorted everything out.

Thanks, it was really mature of you to admit to this.

Hopefully we'll be back on track.
