Maybe someday I'll find the time to revamp this thread......... In the meantime, enjoy these concept portraits of my DnD campaign's party. Just getting some ideas out there before I work them into digital form... designing interesting characters is what I live for. Our campaign has so far been a blast. Really looking forward to getting feedback from the team and moving forward with final designs, ink, and colour.
It's been a while since I've updated my thread, but I've been so busy with private projects I don't have much to update it with! I posted James in the art share thread, but he's a good example of my digital sketch work, so here he is again. The other is from a personal project that will likely never get off the ground....... a man and his manticore. Very loose pencil sketch.
First art of 2017, Jewel of the New Year. Taking advantage of my copics while I'm home for a few weeks! Oh, and part of my resolution is to re-vamp this thread....... someday.
Just to keep my thread fresh, here's a sketchy sprite commission I did a few months back. PC human Monk for a D&D campaign. Those boots sent me to hell and back...

Hi Empish; animal prices are similar to my standard prices, and like all commissions, vary greatly based on content and complexity. A fully-rendered dragon decked in gold lace is going to be a lot more pricey than a simple dog sketch. If you're thinking of commissioning me for some animal artwork, I suggest sending a PM with the details of what you're looking for, and I'd be happy to give you a quote. Sexbomb is doing the sprites for Pinewood Island and he's doing a great job! I can recommend him to anyone here looking for really good quality sprites.
Thanks a ton, Scribbles! I've actually got another sprite project lined up after Pinewood Island, but I am still available for character designs, concept dev, and single illustration promo material. In the meantime, enjoy these character designs for a personal project I've been hoping to get off the ground... keep an eye open, you might see something in the WIP forum soon(ish)!
