Artist Looking for a Short Project [Closed]

#1 Post by Rozume »

Or, alternatively titled, "Roz is Procrastinating on Her Essay Again."

Normally I wouldn't do this, but I'm offering my services for "free" under some conditions. I figured this is a decent way to build my portfolio and to help someone out in the process. Of course, I tried doing this before and 99.9% of the time end of disappearing due to personal reasons but I'll try my best to stick with a project until the very end.

I also don't have many recent samples (which is why I need to make material for a portfolio) but I have worked on art for Visual Novels in the past. I do mostly sprites, but I also want to work on CGs and BGs as I have very little experience with them.

Rules and Conditons
+I'm an artist, not your slave. You must be kind and respect me and my work.
+I can be either a Sprite Artist, a Sprite + CG artist, or a Background artist.
+Your project must be released for free and free only.
+You must have a script that is at least 50% complete.
+Your script must be no larger than 25k words.
+Your project must have a development period no longer than 3 months.
+Understand that your project will probably not be my top priority, as I have life and other obligations to attend to.
+Please keep in touch with me as much as you can; I'll be making sure you'll keep your end of the bargain as well as mine.
+I have the right to use the artwork in my portfolio, regardless to whether or not the project will be released.
+If you do decide to drop your project, please let me know right away. If I decide to opt out of being an artist I will also let you know.

I'm willing to take on:
-Romance (particularly especially Otome).
-Slice of Life
-Drama
-Fantasy
-Sci-Fi (yes, even mecha)

I won't do:
-Hentai*
-Horror**
-Gore/Guro***
-Animals/Furries (sorry kiddies)

*I'll only work with an 18+ Otome that has vanilla scenes
**Psychological Horror is fine
***Very light blood/wounds/bruises is fine

Not sure if your project fits the bill? Ask me about it. Also, to prevent myself from overloading I'm only willing to take on one project. I'm you're still interested PM me or comment below.

Well written!I'm glad that someone summed up the whole idea and reasons for this special kind of creative collaboration.
The phrases that I like the most:
+I'm an artist, not your slave. You must be kind and respect me and my work.
+Your project must be released for free and free only.
+You must have a script that is at least 50% complete.

@ringonoki-ua

Thanks! I try to make things as clear as possible so there's no misunderstandings. As for the "script must be 50% completed" rule, I want to see someone actually show some commitment to their project before they start looking for people willy nilly.

Bumping this. I decided to remove the "50% finished" requirement. I'm willing to accept projects as long as they have a short development period (approximately less than 3 months).

Edit:

I also made this yesterday, so you can gauge my current skills
