Intro
My name is Robin, I'm from the UK and I work full time in the games industry. I am a native English speaker and fluent in Japanese. I have a full-colour fantasy webcomic with over 200 pages, and I'm also working on a visual novel project of my own. I would prefer smaller projects, but I'm open to larger ones as well.

Rules
This prices in this post apply only to indie teams and individuals.
You may use the work I produce for you in commercial projects.
You may modify the work I produce for you.
I may use any art I produce for you as an example of my work in a portfolio (we can discuss timing if necessary).
I will provide layered PSD files or flat images, to whatever dimensions you specify.

I am happy to work on 18+ games, but I will not draw 18+ art myself.

Content I am comfortable working with:
Romance of any gender combination, including poly
Wide range of body types and features
Any genre
Japanese typography (for logos, shop signs, school posters etc.)
Animals and monsters
Furry (not my area of expertise, but I’ll give it a go)
Mecha (again, not my area of expertise)

Content I will not work with:
Sexual content involving minors, or characters who appear to be minors
Rape, abusive relationships and similar
Extreme gore

This is not an exhaustive list, just a set of general guidelines.

Prices and Examples

Backgrounds

From $120 depending on complexity.
Inked or lineless, in the styles below or to match a sample you provide. For additional variants, simple weather effects and colour changes are $10, and more complex variants with prop changes and other significant redrawn parts are $30 (negotiable depending on complexity).

Sprites
Choose a style from my existing work, or provide a sample style for me to match. The base price includes up to 5 expressions. Pose changes also available for an extra cost. These prices do not include the cost of designing a character from scratch - I will need existing concept art and/or a detailed description with reference images to work from, or I can design the character for an extra cost.

Full body: $90
Thigh/hip up: $60
Shoulders up: $30

Logos
From simple typography and shapes up to elaborate illustrations and textures. Prices start from $50 depending on complexity.

Sprite samples have been updated to include more art from my own WIP visual novel.

Samples updated with the following background from my own project, to show a softer style of colouring. I may be returning to full-time work soon, which will impact my availability to work on larger projects, but I'll likely still be open for single backgrounds and sprites.

I have completely revamped the first post with new and improved examples, amended prices plus a new style of background for lower budgets.

The backgrounds section has been updated with some new examples across both tiers. Please also feel free to visit my creative commons thread linked in my signature for free assets you can use in non-commercial games.
