character sprites artist (cheap) free CG and BG art

Hey everyone, I've been an old member in this website, but I have never been really active. but since I'm studying game art. I would like to seriously start building my profile and portfolio C: since I also need a couple of bucks to help me throughout my studies. I'll be charging for my art, but for CG or background I'm willing to do it for free, since I'm pretty inexperienced in this field. I'm good with painting and brushes and I know some basic concepts, just sadly never applied them. here's a link to my page with some of my work and customer reviews (if its not against the forum rules, feel free to place an order there as well, since it's more secure than direct pypal payments)
