Hi everyone, I'm illuminate001 and I'd like to put myself out there and work closer with the community through commissions

Currently, I'd like to offer my services to do Spritework and Design UI for your/our VN. I really enjoy working on Male Sprites for VN's that are Bara, Yaoi, BL, BxB oriented. The same goes for UI. But if your VN isn't related to any of those, hit me up anyways. You never know.

I'm most comfortable in my own style. However, I'm pretty versatile and can go from Chibi's/Anime to Painterly and even highly stylized (think Steven Universe/Nicktoon style)

Aww why thanks! It was alot of hard work undertaking all that art myself but it was very satisfying in the end. Its an aside, but the art in AS WE KNOW IT is looking really solid btw (thumbsup).

Honestly, the offers/commissions would be great especially what with Christmas coming up actually. Like who couldn't use the extra $$$. But honestly, even if it only results in a few Art Trades here and there, I'm totally ok with that too. =)

And yeah a collab would be awesome and naturally it doesn't HAVE to be a BxB sorta VN. Like for instance, if you had hit me up about PInewood I would've def said sign me up! So you never know, maybe in 2018

I currently don't need anything done but I'm going to keep tabs on you from now on =]
I'd totally want to do an art trade, service trade or collab with you in future (I'm a fujyoshi so I have lots of ideas for Yaoi games, haha).

Hey Red-Baby, yeah I've totally seen you around LSF as well, hope LETHE is coming along really well since the demo's release! Yeah for both VN's, actually all my VN's I'm essentially the only one doing everything aside from proofreaders and coding assistance from the helpful coders on LSF. That's partially why I made this thread cause it'd be nice to work with others for a change. Mix it up!

Sadly I don't think Lethe is going to get finished T_T
I would really like to finish it though because even I don't know the endings of the game!! But sadly I haven't been able to talk with the writer for months so it looks unlikely to ever be completed.

Wow good job!!! Making a VN is hard itself so making them mostly by yourself is amazing!!
I'm still working on my VN but I've got someone else doing the music and the backgrounds.

Omgosh that is such a shame.

That is actually one of my fears about collaboration is that the project never gets to see the light of day. In a way, I'd prefer commissions in that sense as it's more of a fire-and-forget sort of deal.

Yes! I saw that and had meant to reply back to you so much sooner. Much apologies EliteKillJoy! Things at work have been really rocky with a slew of layoffs, and it's been very distracting and sad to see alot of my friends and co-workers go.

Worked with Illuminate, this inglorious bastard, on our Yaoijam project - Xenopathy. From the start he has been fast, efficient and really invested in making the project the best it could be.
Everything has been really fluid and cooperative, from concept till finished design, and I've been consistently amazed how Illuminate can take really detailed direction and not only make it his own, but also offer several alternative options.
He always listens to feedback, and has been friendly and fun to work with throughout.

As a big fan, it's been such and honour and a lot of fun to work together on a project we all feel passionate about.

Would love to work together again some time!
