Flexible Writer, Free or Paid

Hi! I'm Jeremy. I have a passion for writing and am interested in using visual novels as an opportunity to have my writing become more of a finished product. I mostly write plays and poetry, but I have a some experience with prose. My writing style tends to be quirky and comedic with serious or romantic undertones.

I am willing to write in a wide variety of genres. I have plenty of plot ideas written down that I would love to pursue, but I am also willing to work within your own ideas. Even if you have your premise and characters already planned out, I can still write for them as long as you find my style appropriate.

I do not require pay for free projects, although my level of commitment will no-doubt increase if I am being paid. For commercial projects however, I expect fair compensation.

Examples of some of my work
This is a staged reading of a short play I wrote for a regional Young Playwrights Festival

(I couldn't figure out how to embed vimeo)

This is a cold reading of different a play I wrote for the same festival a different year. The first half of the video is the play, the second half is just a question and answer session with the audience.

Here is a more recent play I wrote

I can also show you some samples of my work-in-progress plays if you wish, but I think I've given enough for now.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't disappeared. At one point, I was approached for a paid project that I thought would be a major commitment so I essentially put the other people who approached me for projects on hold. The paid project never came into fruition and I greatly apologize to everyone else who messaged me.

I am still interested in writing for visual novels and my qualifications remain the same. Here is an additional example of my writing: a short film that I wrote the screenplay for.
