Writer who loves her job [free/paid][Happily Busy :D]

Slots: 0 - Check back later

Hello, everyone. It has been a while since I have been offering services instead of hiring people. I guess that's what happens when you get caught up in making your own project. Oh well. However, I have taken a full break from that drama, and I'm ready to get back to my passion.

Why me? What can I bring to the table?
I think the thing I can bring most is enthusiasm. I am a team player. I ask many questions to ensure what I create is what you want. I've been told I don't walk - I bounce. Boing, boing, boing. With my optimism, I can keep a team going as more than a dedicated writer but as a cheerleader.
Beyond that, I am (as already stated) passionate about writing and love it above all other activities. As a result of this, I am very researched in the craft. I have countless books on all types of writing, from basic learning to the more specific and advanced. So you see, if you put me on your team, I will not only work hard to write what you want and do my best, but I will also be spending time buying and reading books on how to work in the genre you want, the voice you are going for, or anything else that I think learning more about would help improve what I turn in for your game.

Samples
Ok, that all sounds great, but there's a much bigger question here. How good is your writing? Yes, I suppose that is important, and as such, I have made a folder of basic samples that show what I would call an outline of my abilities.
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing
However, I do not expect that to sell you alone. I make a habit of before taking on any job writing the possible employer a customized sample of up to 500 words. This way, I can show whoever is interested a more zeroed-in view of what I would be sending them for their particular project. I find this invaluable to both of us, as it saves both of us a lot of time in seeing if I am right or wrong for the project. Also...I just think it is a nice thing to do. :D

Rates
So you're thinking about it. You may want me. You may not. Either way, if you've been here this long, you are at least curious as to what this cute nutcase charges.
For a free-too-play project - Nothing! While I would prefer to be paid a smidgen of what both of us could agree is fair, I am totally ok with being unpaid for a project that will not be making a profit and is letting happy players download for free.
For a commercial project - I do not work for free on commercial projects. If you are making a profit, I expect compensation of some kind. Perhaps a trade could be in order, but money is preferable. I am always willing to haggle, but I'd think somewhere between $0.02-$0.05 per word is a fair range and my personal suggestion.

Hello. I am interested in having a second writer for a new Free Visual Novel Project I have started. While I do not currently have any artists for this project, I am hoping that building up a beautiful, emotion-filled story that leaves players feeling good inside will be enough to impress so that I can get everything I need.

I can't afford to pay you anything right now, but luckily it IS a Free Project. However, I do intend to set up a Kickstarter once adequate development has been completed. If said Kickstarter is successful, rest assured that you will be compensated for your time.

Here is the link to the thread I created on here. http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 59&t=32973

There isn't yet much, but I have a vision, and I want to see it come to fruition. If you like what you see, then hit me up.

I hope to spend much time working with you.

I'm back, babies! And while I have a main project I am focused greatly on, it would be nice to have a lighthearted side project that I can really jump into. The main one I'm on is an ambitious and dark, so I feel like something cute, short, and likely free would be a nice break right now. ...Assuming anyone with a project like that is looking for a writer, let alone wants me. Heh. Oh well, I'm usually lucky.

That Yuri game jam thing is still going on, if I'm not mistaken. Pretty sure that falls under the category of what you're generally looking for (if you don't mind yuri). You should try looking into that, and see what's available.

I don't mind Yuri at all. In fact, I was really happy that the jam was made in the first place, because there aren't enough yuri games in my opinion.
