I am looking for a project that I can join, as a writer! I love to write about anything, So I'm not picky about any sort of genre.
I have experience in writing Fiction and Non-Fiction. Though, I have not written a visual novel before. I have read many visual novels, and understand how it works, so that won't be much of a problem.
Example: (This piece is from a book i'm writing, keep in mind this portion is not completely finished/edited. Also the format is weird because i copy and pasted it. lol)
If interested, please PM me or post here, and we can discuss details!I aimed my arrow at the beautifully furred doe, whom was eating peacefully in the grass. The chill made my hold on the bow uneasy. My eye sight swiveled left and right. I really wished I hadn’t had that extra cup of ale last night. I pulled my bow string back farther, readying to release it.
“Ahh!” I heard a boy scream continuously.
I looked over where the shouting was coming from, loosening my grip on my bow. I didn’t bother to see if the doe was still eating. That loud racket would’ve made any doe, bird, or rabbit run from a mile away.
“Get him!” I heard a man say.
The voices were getting closer. I swiftly moved behind a tree, peeking my eye out to see who it was. I saw a boy running from three of the Sheriff’s men. I knew the boy. It was Much. I’m not surprised. Much always gets into trouble and the worst part is that he can never get out of it without any help. It’s usually my help. It’s such a waste of precious time.
I thought about just walking away, but I couldn’t do that. Much was running closer to the tree I was hiding behind. I reached out my arm and grabbed Much’s tunic. I yanked him behind the tree. The guards were still a little behind.
Much was shaking and quivering. “Oh! Athlesia! Thank goodness!” Much said, out of breath.
“What did you do this time?” I said angrily, yanking his tunic a little more.
“I was just trying to get some lunch, so I shot a deer and the guards caught me!”
“You know poaching is illegal, under penalty of death! What were you thinking?”
“I was hungry. You and Robin do it all the time, so I thought-” Much started to say.
“-Well you thought wrong! Robin and I can do it because we don’t get caught! I scolded him.
“Come on.” I said yanking him.
We hid underneath a bush until the guards passed us. I was taking Much to the Hideout. The Hideout is in Sherwood Forest. It’s where a group of us outlaws hide. That’s right, I am an outlaw. We aren’t like any other outlaws. We don’t steal for our pleasures, or kill the innocent. We steal from the rich and give to the poor. That is our motto. We devote our time to helping others that are in need. We call ourselves the Merry Men and Women of Sherwood.
We arrived at the Hideout. All the Merry men and Women were there. Robin, Will and Lil John were sparing. Friar Tuck was passed out on the ground. (Probably from all the ale). Evanescence was reading her alchemy book, as usual. Finally, Marian was making more arrows since we constantly run out.
Lil John stopped sparing and turned to me and Much as we approached the Hideout. “Aye! Where’s our lunch?” He asked.
“This will have to do for now.” I said shoving Much towards him.
Much looked frightened. “Oh Robin! You’re not going to let them eat me! Are you?”
“Relax Much. They were only joking. Now tell me, what has happened?” Robin said calmly.
“He was caught shooting one of the King’s deer.” I explained.
“My oh my. That is a problem.” He paused for a moment. “I guess we can’t have you running around Sherwood Forest all by yourself being an outlaw, now can we?” Robin said.
“Ha! He wouldn’t last a day anyway.” Evanescence said as she placed her book down.
“Don’t be so cruel Eva.” Marian said with her sweet voice. She got up to comfort Much. “I’ll take care of you, Much. You hungry?” They walked away.
“Have you gone daft, letting Much into the Merry Men? Evanescence said to Robin.
“I agree. Since when did this become the Merry Simpletons?” Will said jokingly.
Eva and I giggled. Will has a way of always lightening the mood. That is what I like most about him. Well that, and his wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. He’s sort of… charming.”
“Since you joined.” Robin said to Will.
“You’ll pay for that!” Will said to Robin as they started sparing.
They both act so childish together. After all they are cousins, but they have a brotherly bond. It’s like Marian and I. We both are cousins, but consider each other as sisters.
“Well I’m off to find a rabbit or something since someone here is incapable of doing so.” Lil John said walking away with his staff.
“I was a little preoccupied!” I shouted.
Lil John likes to banter with me. He treats me like his little sister. I would’ve taken him down right then and there, if he wasn’t so big of a man. His name is extremely misleading. He towers a whole foot above me. He’s the biggest of the Merry Men. He can be quite intimidating if you don’t know him.
I sat down leaning against a tree near Marian and Evanescence. I closed my eyes enjoying the sensation of the cool wind against my face. I breathed in the scent of the oaks and greens.
“What’s wrong, Athlesia?” Marian asked, breaking my trance.
“Oh, nothing.” I sighed.
“You know I don’t believe that. I can sense something.”
I think she really does have supernatural senses. It’s either that or she knows me too well. Marian smiled her sweet smile at me. I can see why Robin loves her. Her bright green eyes just glow at you innocently. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but also on the inside as well.
“It’s just-” I started to say.
“Here she goes again.” Evanescence mumbled.
“- I need more adventure! Nothing has happened in the past two weeks. We do the same thing every day! I want something more!”
“I’m having trouble finding a few herbs. How’s that for an adventure?” Eva smirked.
Marian started to laugh.
“I’m being serious!” I said.
Thank you!
