Turnaround Time and Content Limitations For Proofreading

I can proofread around 20k to 30k words in one session, this is about one or two hours for me. As a result, I can finish projects of more than 50k words in a week or less depending on how motivated I get. I am not doing free work for 50k words and less anymore. I also have an abnormal amount of free time, so I am almost always free to work.

My favourite genres that I am most likely willing to proofread are:

Romance (any orientations)
Slice Of Life
Action
Comedy
Fantasy
Sci-Fi
R-18 (please consult me with the fetishes of your VN beforehand)

I am unwilling to proofread the following topics/genres:

Hardcore fetishes (NTR, watersports, scat, guro, anything considered weird or non-vanilla on F-list)
Uncomfortable topics such as racism, sexism

I'm willing to work on game jams for free!

Pricing

Proofreading: $0.01/0.02 USD per word. (0.02 with two-week deadline, 0.03 with one-week deadline. There's a chance I might charge 0.02 USD/ per word for shorter projects.)

Before working on the project, I would like to request 50% payment upfront, the rest after the work is done! If you want to pay in instalments, please let me know so we can work something out!

Fei and I worked together on "Cautionary Tale" for NaNo 2018. I was Lead Editor and she was the main proofreader (as she noted above).

To tell the truth, I've worked with a lot of editing teams in the past - and I can honestly say Fei is exceptionally good at what she does. She's extremely fast, reliable, and accurate; she also asks questions as-needed and catches on quickly - both of which make working with her easy and efficient.

Additionally, she's easy to talk to and brings a positive attitude to the team (at least in my experience). I would say that she has a passion for visual novels - and that shows in her work and her personality.

Fei and I have been on a few projects together, including "Cautionary Tale" and her own works. Fei is a great proofreader, and most importantly to me, she communicates well and often - you will never be in the dark about her progress. I've known her since she was really new in the industry, and she's been growing, and growing fast. She's also a really, genuinely nice person, and that's something to look for in any job you want filled!

Fei helped us to clean and "test on native speaker" some text assets for our game. Approachable, helpful, able to accept feedback and work out good solution, just generally pleasing to work with. Thank you again.
