Trailer/Promotional videos for free!

Long ago before I even knew of the existence of visual novels, I used to edit videos and put together AMV's (Anime Music Videos). I know those type of video's aren't exactly trailers but it does give me experience. Actually this gives me roughly 9 years of experience. (Started when I was in fourth grade ^.^")

I want to offer something back to the Lemmasoft community and since my art isn't something even I would want for free and I'm not comfortable enough with my writing to offer it out, this is the best way I know how. ^.^

All thing's considering, I just want to help out and since I also don't have experience with trailers for VN's I'm offering my work for free!!

If you're interested what I need to do this is simple.
I just need any images, sounds and music you want present in the video.
Also let me know any other additional information you want in you're video and if you want you're video to look a certain way. (In which case a sample would be nice.)
Also I'm currently working on the writing for my own project write now so I'll work on it when I make time (Which won't be hard! I love editing videos )

Hey there!
I'm just wondering, what kinds of things can you do? What would you do do if you got materials for a video from a somebody and they didn't include any animation - what kind of a promotional video could you do with that?

I'm just wondering since your experience comes from AMV's, which are based on animated clips and mashing them together. Could you create a dynamic promo video with little to no animation, only images? I don't know anything about the program you're using; is it possible to add some special effects etc?

I'm sorry for the barrage of questions :'') I'm looking for a video editor to make a promo vid of my VN, and while I will have some animated things in it, I don't think there will be enough animated material for a whole promo video. I'm also asking on behalf of other VN creators, because they might be wondering about th same things. And most people here won't have any animation in their VN's.

Also, would you willing to work based on a storyboard made by your client?

Thanks for pointing that out to me Aviala!! Actually I was kinda expecting to use non-animated images. As for making a dynamic video I'm not as sure but I have studied other trailer videos for vn's and adapting that to my own use won't be too hard but it'll take practice. ^.^" (Been messing around with it in my spare time ^.^") As for video editing software, I prefer to use sony vegas since it allows me to show more than one image/video clip at once and it has so much potential. (Many many special effects )

I also do not mind following my client's story board either, in fact I kinda expect some of them to already have an outline of how they want the video to go. ^.^" Don't get me wrong if someone just gave me the images and sounds they wanted me to use and said "Make it good" I would be like "Yay! Creative freedom!" (over exaggerated by the way lols) but if someone else gave me a directed picture and details of how everything should go like "Show this picture at this part in the song and play this sound at this time..." I would probably be like "Do what they say while trying to exceed their expectations..... Challenge accepted" and so on.

Though I might add that if my client doesn't like my work and/or want's me to make altercations, I don't mind. I'll redo the video (if they choose) and make the altercations. They story is their's and my job would be to simple broadcast it in a way that they want that'll gather the attention they need.
