Musician looking for paid projects

Hello, all! I'll cut straight to the chase:

For free projects:

Sorry, I'm no longer accepting free projects!

For paid projects:
(NOTE: I am now done with cruise ships and am taking on soundtrack work for a full time job! Turnaround times will be very quick and music quality will be much higher than before.)

What I'm looking for:
1. Deadlines. If the project is going to be professional, I don't want to be the only one meeting my deadlines. If you want to do the per cent profit agreement, be warned that I expect very high levels of competence and organization.
2. In terms of pay, it would depend on the project. We can either do a per song agreement, or if possible, a per cent profit agreement, the latter involving more involvement. I try to work within a project's budget, but I will draw a line at a minimum price of $40.00 per track. Those of you who I'm already work with don't have to worry, I won't change my rates if I'm already on a team!

My work:

Where I'm strongest (Where I get to brag)
1. Orchestral music. I'm a classical oboist mainly and have been playing in orchestras all of my life. I have also played flute, clarinet, bassoon, percussion, cello, and piano with orchestral ensembles at the college level.
2. Jazz. Currently I'm a saxophone player for a cruise line, doubling on flute and clarinet. I have also played many paying gigs with big bands and combos.
3. Electronic music. While it may not be my main focus, I have a fair amount of experience with it and I am confident with what I can do.

Somewhere in the middle (What I'm working on)
1. Vocal music. If you want something with vocals, I can get my good friends Rose or Savannah to record. We just finished recording our first collaboration, Shatter. It's listed under examples below if you would like to listen to it. If you want vocal music, the deadlines will be longer and the charge will be higher, probably around $100, but we can talk it over.

Where I'm weakest (Just so you know)
1. Hard rock. MIDI electric guitars can only go so far. While I can write anything rock-wise, my guitar skills leave a lot to be desired, so I will say that this is probably my weakest point.

Previous experience (Groups that actually released something)
1. Turnabout Storm: original music
2. Cremisi: Sound effects, audio design, music

Examples
My soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/solo-acapello
These are mostly up to date and contain most of my soundtrack work. There are some songs that are not on there, most of which are for the upcoming Detective Butler game. Feel free to ask to see them if you want to see my most recent work.

Something nostalgic (Memories) https://soundcloud.com/solo-acapello/tu ... t-memories
Something intense (Invocation) https://soundcloud.com/solo-acapello/invocation
Something smoky (Like Clockwork) https://soundcloud.com/solo-acapello/like-clockwork
Something reflective (Stumbling Block) https://soundcloud.com/solo-acapello/stumbling-block
Something vocal (Shatter) https://soundcloud.com/solo-acapello/mo ... st-shatter

About me
Wait, somebody's reading this part? Quick, I need to brag! Uh, here we go, 3 quick things. I've:
Graduated with my Master's in music composition with honors.
Played with professional orchestras, jazz bands, jazz combos, dixieland bands, and chamber ensembles in Texas and the Midwest U.S.
Had the Toledo Symphony perform and record an orchestral piece and a string quartet that I've written.

Important note!

I used to work on a cruise ship, but now I'm back on land! I'm currently doing soundtracks full time, so feel free to contact me. You can expect a reply very quickly.

Current status
Looking for paid projects, lots of them! Working with Cosmic Raven, Moonlight Drizzle, Cardinal Days, Winterlight Studios, Goldbar Games, and others, but have plenty of room for more!

Update (9/9/2016)
Vocal pieces are no longer a long shot for me. After working together with a friend, Rose, we've started working together to make some music. If you want vocal music, it will take extra time and cost extra than my usual.
Example: Shatter. https://soundcloud.com/solo-acapello/mo ... st-shatter

Update (10/31/2016)
Back on land and ready to go! Looking for paid projects now, as this is going to be a full time job from here on out. All systems are go!

Hey there.

Right now, I have a free project (Free Dev/ Free Play... originally meant for SuNoFes or something similar). It's a medieval fantasy setting, though admittedly the fantasy is very miniscule for now. It's a precursor to a larger project in the same setting. I still have to write the script and find someone to do background art, but I already know how I want everything to happen so the script won't take long. I have an artist for sprites and cgs right now, and it's very promising.

My question is, do you think you would be willing and capable of doing two versions of a song? It is a lullaby written by the protagonist's mother many years ago for him and his sister when they were children. This song ends up in a music box that the protagonist's sister and her husband made for their daughter. It needs an enchanting, somewhat slow beat for the music box, and haunting, magical tones for the version that would have singing (you won't do the singing of course. I'll need to find someone with a "motherly" voice for that.

Development has been slow, but I have no intentions of giving up on this project. Let me know if you'd be interested. I already have the melody picked out. I had had someone else working on it before, but they got really busy and that was several months ago, so I want to get it done so it's done and the project can be finished.

Let me know.

I'd be interested in talking to you about a few Jazz/R&B pieces. It's paid work. Looking for about 2-4 pieces for a Mystery VN. Let me know if you're still available while you're out on the water.

Bumped with content! Back on land and ready to take on all of the projects, since I'm going to be doing soundtrack work as my full time job now, so free projects are sadly not possible anymore. Either way, bring it on!
