[OPEN] Programmer

Hi, I've been working with Ren'py for a while now. I'm helping with the development of Memories~ Megami no hogo-sha, and been a consultant on a few smaller projects (like Flourish). I am especially interested in helping VNs with LGBTQ+ content, as I believe those stories are still generally underrepresented.

18+ Content:
-I'm fine with doing VNs that have occasional 18+ content, but not if that is the main focus. I am ace, so I'm generally uncomfortable with this, but am fine if it's only occasional.

Payment:
-I am not willing to work for free on commercial projects (and would prefer up front payment), but will help for free as long as your VN is not being sold for profit.

Things I have done in Ren'py:
-Basics (choices, editing text boxes & choice graphics, ctcs, text scroll sounds, transitions)
-Persistent stuff (game remembering stuff you did even outside of the save file, characters remembering choices even if you restart and all)
-A simple turn based battle system
-Music Box & CG Gallery, but not in depth yet
-Achievements (although not through a system like steam at the current moment)
-Text Box Animations
-Relationship Meters/Bars
-Ability for the VN to check for updates, but not self patching

Things I have not done in Ren'py:
-Image Maps
-Complex ATL stuff

We already have a completed Twine version and are working on building up a cohesive piece (art, sound, writing, style) for Renpy. Pretty cool project with good responses to the Twine prototype so far, would love to ask you some Renpy questions!

I am still open, and am interested mostly in helping people with a small team project (ie: one that will be done in <2 months and has a small scope) at the current moment. Especially if it's one of your first! I love helping people learn.
